Sam’s girlfriend had given him the strange pen as a souvenir from her trip to Japan. It was a decorative pen, fluffy all over and with a yellow duckling on the back. But of all the cool Japanese things Emily could have brought back for him, he didn’t expect such a lame curiosity.
‘Look at the tag’, Emily said. ‘I saw it in a funny shop in a weird part of town, but what it said on the tag interested me! Anyway, it’s so cute! Here, I hope you like it.’
One side was in Japanese, but the other was in somewhat broken English; ‘Lucky duckling: Give me a kiss, let your wish become true! Good for gifts!’
‘Hah,’ Sam laughed, ‘you mean like this?’ he asked cheekily, as he pecked the duck on the lips. He thought that Emily was trying to hint him to kiss her, but he was going to tease her as long as possible.
Suddenly, there was a flash of light, and both Sam and Emily fell to the floor stunned. When they opened their eyes, they saw that Sam had turned into a beautiful asian girl, with clothes and accessories to match!
‘What the heck is this, Emily!? What the heck happened? What did you do to me?’’
‘Oh no! This might sound crazy Sam, but I may have accidentally wished for this to happen… I don’t know why, but when you kissed the duck, a thought suddenly flashed in my mind that you hated the gift, hated me, and how you’d probably like the hot Japanese girls! Then I thought from your point of view, how kinky it might be to have a Japanese girlfriend… and then the flash happened!
‘What? I don’t even know why you thought of that, but I would never do all of that… Baby, you’re the best, and I love you, but I really hope we can solve this problem together now! I don’t want to be a girl’

‘Well, it’s worth a shot, let’s try that’. And so, Sam has been kissing the duck for the past five minutes while Emily has been trying her best to concentrate and also to figure out what to think of to change Sam back to normal.
Meanwhile, her mind started to wander again and she thought that if they really couldn’t find a way to change Sam back, she hoped he’d be able to accept the change, and thought it would be a good time to come out to him about her bisexuality…
